Volunteer

We can not exist without volunteers.  They are a vital part of C.A.R.E. and continue to amaze us with their dedication and devotion to our program. C.A.R.E. volunteers have a significant and immediate impact on our clients.

Volunteers arrive before sessions and stay afterwards to groom and tack up horses.  They also lead them during sessions, or walk alongside in the arena or on trail rides. They are invaluable for engaging the students, caring for the horses, and assisting the instructors.

Working in the arena with constant hands-on contact with our horses and their special-needs riders requires specific skills. Volunteers in the arena must be at least 16 years old and go through trainings.

Volunteers are always welcome. Sign up today!
